MT101 Footsteps 1

This Course is accredited with ACU. The Course involves participation in a three-day residential program exploring Marist charism, identity, pedagogy and spirituality.  Six programs are being held in 2018 at The Hermitage, Mittagong, New South Wales.

2019 Program dates:

24 - 27 February    10 - 13 March          19 - 22 May

25 - 28 August      8 - 11 September    27 - 30 October

Assessment Requirements:

Assignment 1 (1500 words)

Having gained knowledge and understanding of the teaching Methodologies of St Marcellin Champagnat and his early Brothers, provide a critical analysis of their efficacy and relevance for today.

Assignment 2  (1500 words)

Synthesise and analyse the teaching methodologies of three Marist teachers.

Assignment 3  (2500 words) 

Evaluate what you have learnt about Marist methodology.  Explain how you might apply this to the pedagogical context relevant to your current or future role.

When the assignments are completed, normally within six months of completing the program, they are to be sent to Rhonda Lu, ACU Course Administrator, Postgraduate Studies.  Rhonda's email address is: EducationArts.PG@acu.edu.au

Rhonda organises invoices and marking and returns marked assignments to individual students, once the marking fee has been paid by Br John McMahon on behalf of Marist Tertiary.
